Short Anatomical Girth With Lambskin - Mattes

This girth is specifically formed to allow the horse a comfortable freedom of movement at the elbows. The genuine lambskin lining is very effective in protecting the horse's skin from injuries due to friction created at the support zone of the girth. Injuries caused by the girths can uickly become chronic: Equine-Sarcoïde. The pure natural wool and the thick and compact fleece ensure an ideal weight distribution and decreases the pressure and friction on the horse's skin. In addition, natural wool immediately absorbs sweat  8x faster than synthetic fiber due to a constant flow of air circulating between the fibers of the wool. Because it provides good thermal regulation, it can be used for both summer and winter seasons.

ADVICE FOR CHOOSING THE COLOR:
The dark or bright colored wools can rub off on lighter fabrics as well as light colored horses and leathers. For this reason, we recommend that you do not combine light colored fabrics and bindings with dark or bright wool.

The cotton flaps that cover the buckles are held by Velcro. They are an additional guarantee of protection for your horse.

The wide middle part of the girth is reinforced with Polyflex. Polyflex is particularly breathable so it will not hold in heat. Its texture is just flexible enough to ensure good hold. Polyflex does not react to changes in temperature. The polyflex plate is removable for easy washing.

The ends of the anatomical girth are elastic for an optimal distribution of the pressure.

The buckles are stainless steel.

Choosing a size:
The distance between the bottom of the saddlepad and the buckle-end of the girth should not exceed the width of 4 fingers, both for anatomical and asymmetric girths. This is important to ensure that the deeper recess of the girth is properly aligned with the horse's elbow movement.
